Is there a similar streamline process for Nebraska Service Center. My case which was pending for nearly two years at TSC just recently got transferred to NSC and my PD will not be current starting next mont. Is there any thing that I can do in the next 10 days or so?

Good, so I'm not the only one who feels that Murthy is dominated by uncivilized conversations. IV came as such a breath of fresh air because everyone here is polite and agree to disagree in a civil manner.
BTW is that famous member "J***f"....lol. He's been getting bashed at Murthy a bit too lately. He's like a schoolyard bully who just enjoys pouncing on people and giving unnecessary gyan.

Paystub is really required document in tax law.
These are normally state subject and are guided and monitored by state labor law departments.
Employers don't have a choice of deciding their own period of giving you paystubs.
So if you choose to keep working for illegal employment under illegal condition that's your problem but you can always choose to get labor lawyer involved or just send your employer link similar to one below for your state law and ask him gently "I don't doubt your intention but from what I read this is illegal and I don't want to be part of anything illegal so at least for me please send paystubs every pay-period"

1. Stop doing direct deposit. Ask him for a check every payperiod. that's always your choice.
2. try to transfer, and when the RFE comes , send the sent email notarized copy and affidavite and bank statements as proof of payment and delay in pay-stubs. Even if your transfer gets denied you will be okay coz you are working currently, if it gets approved, you are home free from the shackles of this slave-master.

I am a lil bit confused here. If there is a job that requires little or NO EXPERIENCE, would it be hard to find a US Citizen?
May or may not be.
That is the reason that PERM labor certification requires employer to provide proof that enough advertizing was done and no US citizen was qualified AND willing to accept the job, before deciding to go for an Alien.

My attornies (big firm...working for Fortune 500 company) says that dates could retrogress anytime i.e. on 15 July 07, dates could move back several months and the chances of that happening are very high. My advise is to have your spouse cut the vacation short and return asap...! You need to file ASAP.

Dear All..need expert guidance on my situation.
1) Company A. Approved I-140 and LC for more than 6 months in 2006
2) Took a Job with Company B. Concurrent filling of New I-140 , 485, EAD, AP (In July 2007), EAD and AP approved > 180 days. But still waiting for I-140..looks like it going to take some time.
3) Want to change to company �C�in similar area. Can I use AC21? Given that I have approved I-140 from company A, 485 from company B and want to move to company C ?
I assume answer is No but thought I will get some expert guidance.

You may be able to do this by replacing the underlying 140 of your 485 application with the older one. It should be possible. Talk to a lawyer.

i have given blood probably 10-12 times.
Red Cross may not have taken you blood for other reasons not because you are an immigrant , one major reason to deny blood donation is travel
outside US to a country that still has widesspread malaria.
India and most Southeast asian coutries among such countries is one such issues.
Please dont spread incorrect information.
I have volunteered in sports event, donated blood, build houses as volunteer and have been part of volunteer trail maintainance.....and i am an immigrant.
This country is one of the most independent and free countries on face of earth.

There are lot of places which will not take blood if you have not stayed here for 5years. It generally takes 5years for any antigens to get out of system. So some places have rule of thumb for 5years. Now when you are immigrant from India, it is taken for granted to question your length of stay.
There are lot of places which will accept blood from everybody for lack of donors and do their own screenings. It depends on funding/urgent need. I am sure there was no intention of denial based on immigration status/race.

One thing is for sure, regardless of the intent of the law to facilitate immigration of people with graduate degrees in STEM, USCIS will make sure to get into the weeds of proving or disproving that either the degree is not really technical and/or the field is not related to the degree.
It is so easy to get into fields of enigneering and technology that are not directly related to your "field of graduate studies" but you just happened ending up in that field by virtue of opportunities that came across in your professional life. Such fields could be classified as "unrelated" by USCIS even though, execution of job in that field may not be possible without gaining knowledge in the "actual field of study".
Lawmakers make laws to make things easier for people and organizations like DOL and USCIS leave no stone unturned to use the very same laws to make people's lives hell.

My company has filed an AOS application on July 02 2007 using an approved EB3 I-140 (PD = Sep 2001). Then in Dec 2007, they have filed a EB2 I-140 using an approved EB2 PERM to convert the pending AOS apllication to EB2, hoping to port the priority date of pending AOS application to EB2 Sep 2001. EB2 priority dates were retrogressed after the EB2 I-140 was filed.
I am thinking of switching the job now. I don't expect USCIS to process the EB-2 I-140 for next 6 months or so. Is it safe to switch jobs in this situation? I have portability right now, since 180 days have passed after the AOS application was filed with EB3 I-140. Does the EB2 I-140 adversely affect the AC21 after I join the new employer. What will happen to my pending AOS application, when USCIS processes the EB2 I-140 from my original employer, before or after I have used AC21 from the new employer.
Appreciate your feedbacks on this.

It might get complicated . I would say have patience for a few months . Once you get your GC you are free.

Since this thread is open and dont want to wast resouce on new thread. I want to ask people those who had already filed 485/EAD/AP that did anyone has taken photos at Walgreens.
I am getting $7.99 for taking 2 photos at Walgreens($48 for 2person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee. Whereas in Kinko's I am getting deal of $13.50 for first 2 photo and rest 4 photos for $13.50 ($54 for 2 person with 6 photos deal) in Milwaukee city area.
Now question besides money I want to know which one is worth taking chance for taking a picture interms of quality.

Unless you need to travel immediately, I551 stamp is not important. I am assuming she only declined to stamp the I-551 but the GC was approved.
These days you get the card in 30-60 days from approval. sometimes even within the week so you dont need the stamp. The actual GC card is the I-551 document you need. The stamp let you travel without the card in the days it took around a year for the card to arrive.
Congratulations and get the passport renewed, you would need the current passport for travel anyways.
