Can u just work part time in EAD without H1B.

If your wife wants to transfer to a cap-subject employer, she will only be able to do so if the H-1 quota for the fiscal year has not been used up. If the H-1 cap has not been reached then transferring from a cap-exempt employer is no more difficult than transferring from a cap-subject employer. (though the new start date would have to be Oct. 1 or later)

I just got my labor approved for Masters degree and 3 years exp.
I have 3 years B.Sc degree and 3 years MCA degree from India and my education eval. shows it as equivalent to MS in computer Science.
In form ETA 750, under section 14, I have following data
College degree required:
Master of Science
Major field of study
Comp Sci/Engg,Info Sys Engg
Experience
3 years
Other fields under section 14 and 15 are blank.
RIR Advertisement has mentioned following
" Must have MS in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems Engineering or foreign degree equivalent with 3 years of relevant work experience."
I am little confused about "College degree required:" field. It only says "Master of Science". Should it be "Master of Science Or foreign equivalent"?

I will be filing my 485 due to the current changes.
I am getting married in December 2007.
1. I am goin to file for my spouse at that time. Is it necessary that the dates should be current in order to file this amendement?
2. I understand that one can file amendment before or within 180 days of acceptance of 485. is this correct ?
3. Is there anyway to know that I am nearing my acceptance of 485?

this is just like what people talk about IRS. I got packet in mail asking to contact immediatly field officer at local office regarding 2006 tax returns. Thinking worst, I didn't even go beyond subject line and everybody I talked or told, scared me to death. Finally, I mustered up courage to go line-by-line. Didn't understand what they were talking about and neither did the notice had my name or SSN. So left with no-choice, called IRS and found that documents were for previous resident!
Lession for me (and all) ... if you haven't done anything wrong intentially, their is nothing to be afraid about.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said that on September 15, 2009, the worst recession since the 1930s is probably over, although he cautioned that pain - especially for the nearly 15 million unemployed Americans - will persist. It shrank at a 1 percent pace in the second quarter, much slower than in previous quarters. While many on Wall Street have been encouraged by early signs of stabilization in U.S. home prices and hope the housing market may have hit bottom, others aren't so sure.

And his remarks came on the same day that the government report that retail sales jumped 2.7 percent in August, the most in more than three years. All this helped to lift stocks on Wall Street. I know people work for county on EAD, but can one be employed by the US government on EAD?
I work for State government on EAD. My agency's HR didnot/does not have any knowledge, had to involve local Immigration lawyers and State immigration lawyers to educate them. I have to be forthcoming and provide/sign new I-9's whenever my EAD is renewed.

Which part of address change trigger RFE
1) Submitting AR11
OR
2) Changing address for pending 485.
Will any one at USCIS does anything/do processing/look into it, if you just submit AR11.

I changed my address recently. Had soft LUD on my I-1485 but no RFE.

You need to make a visit to the nearest uscis office tomorrow morning and give them the details and preferably get that second AP application withdrawn or cancelled or whatever.
Now did you receive just the approval notice for the first AP or did you actually get the AP document? Make sure you got the actual AP document (the one with the photo, etc.).
Good luck. I think you should be fine.

Hey, my friend just got admission in a college and since she is not a US citizen or permanent resident. So, she needed a co-signer who is one but unfortunetly she couldnt get one cuz no one other then your own family member will trust u and sign and affidavit or co-sign a loan. Now her aunt who came with her husband on his work visa,been living for 9 yrs, recetly went out of status(I dont know the reason as its personal) has bank account and of course some savings. So my friend's aunt signed the Affidavit for my friend that was required by the university in order to process the student visa. Now after the application is filed, my friend is worried and maybe you can help her answer the questions. Her english isnt so good so Im going this for her(thu mine is bad too :)
-I do know one thing that if a person getting a student loan is not a US citizen/permanent resident she/he would need a co-signer who is one and I also know that for sure that the loan agency check the credit history of a co-signer. SO,since my friend's aunt isnt a permant resident or a US citizen(she is out of status in fact) so she cannot be my friend's co-signer for the student loan BUT what about Affidavit?
