Exactly. Or, the 3rd party that TJ Maxx got them from could have sold them to TJM for a slight loss or break even, just to move them. No one knows what TJ Maxx has paid for these, so no one can say they are making a profit. Even if they did sell them for a loss, it's probably more than made up for it in the amount of viral advertising they've gotten so far.

Also, what is so bad about the iOS notification system? I just hit "Close" if I don't care about a notification at that time.

My biggest problem is, ok I don't want to look at it right then. BUT I would like to be able to look at it as some point.

I've also run into where I will be typing in a field or playing a game and a notification will pop up and I'll hit close before I realize it. Then it's just GONE, that's what annoys me the most.

u don't need .Mac to use iChat. you can use iChat with AIM account. and I keep hearing this rumor that MSN and Yahoo account might be added.

so sign up for a jabber account, and then use Transports to connect to MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, etc etc.

A lot of other services offer "simmilar" features, but none that i have seen/used/heard of offer the same integration that .Mac does.

I'm a medical student so I need my money in my pocket funding my studies! :p And in the UK my study is mostly funded by the government so people are paying for the good of society.

But of course, you do realise there's a difference between wanting everyone to get a fair deal and giving money away for free? You will get compensated for your work as a lawyer, you don't need my money. I just want to see that Atebits is compensated for his work as a dev.

My logic is that people should pay a fair amount for what they get, whereas in society today people only care about the monetary cheapness of things regardless of the wider cost. Cheap foods and electricity at the expensive of the environment, cheap clothes at the expensive of child labour etc.
